This is Praxis's internal pricing reference for the Tampa Bay market launch. The structure is lean and intentional — three Clarity Engagement tiers as the core offer, two advisory retainers as the natural follow-on, and a handful of project add-ons. The Fractional CMO offering is available selectively but not publicly advertised yet.

Pricing philosophy: accessible enough to remove hesitation, meaningful enough that the client shows up prepared. After three completed Clarity Engagements, raise prices 20 to 25 percent.

Fractional Marketing Leadership — Available selectively, not publicly advertised

Held back at launch — available for the right client at the right time

Fractional CMO engagements involve active ongoing marketing management — vendor oversight, team direction, strategy execution — and require meaningful bandwidth to do well. At launch, that bandwidth belongs in the Clarity Engagement work.

The right moment to offer this is when a Clarity client finishes the report, has seen the quality of the work, and asks you to stay involved in the implementation. At that point you have context, trust, a clear scope, and a relationship worth building on.

When that conversation happens, quote it based on hours needed at $185 per hour rounded to a clean monthly number. Minimum $2,500 per month. Use the Fractional Marketing Leadership contract already built. The offer is ready — it is just waiting for the right client to earn it.

A client who starts with The Spark and grows into a Strategic Advisor retainer is worth over $27,000 in year one. Present the path naturally at the follow-up call — not as a pitch, but as a genuine conversation about what makes sense next. The quality of the Clarity Report does the selling.

Pricing principles

Never discount the Clarity work
These prices are already accessible. Discounting devalues the deliverable before the client has seen it. If budget is genuinely tight, offer The Spark — never reduce The Clarity Engagement.
Payment terms are firm
50% on signing for all fixed fee work. Retainers due on the first of the month. Never start work without the deposit. Slow payment at the start predicts slow payment throughout.
Raise prices after 3 clients
These are launch prices. After three completed Clarity Engagements you have case studies and a track record. Raise base packages by 20 to 25 percent at that point. You will have earned it.
Retainers start after Clarity
Do not offer a retainer to a client who has not done a Clarity Engagement with Praxis first. The retainer is built on that foundation. Without it, scope and expectations drift.
Custom scoping
If a situation does not fit a standard package, start with the closest standard and add line items clearly. Never quote custom at a rate below the comparable package level.
Fractional CMO — earn the right
Only offer fractional CMO work when a Clarity client asks for it after seeing the report. Quote at $185 per hour rounded to a clean monthly number. Minimum $2,500 per month.
